On 27 December, Fortune (Chinese version) released the all-star list of “Chinas Most Admired Companies 2022”, and 50 Chinese companies including CIMC Group were listed.
Fortune says that this list is a consideration of the soft power of enterprises. At the moment of the global economic turmoil and the impact of the COVID-19, some Chinese enterprises are still working hard to break the shackles and strive for more global market share in the environment of increasingly serious trade frictions. While pursuing development with resilience, they never gave up bringing positive impact to the society.
Under the severe test of the worsening global economic situation, intensified geopolitical conflicts and the COVID-19, CIMC Group adheres to the strategic theme of “steady operation and high-quality growth”. The Group continued focusing its main business on the logistics and energy industries. In terms of emerging businesses, the Group also focuses on the two main channels of “smart logistics” and “clean energy”. With the advantages of CIMC, we solve the pain point of “the industry has weaknesses, and the country has needs” and achieve a stable long-term development. CIMC Groups revenue in the first three quarters of 2022 exceeded RMB100 billion, which was at a historical high, showing strong enterprise resilience and strategic determination.
The award of one of FORTUNE Chinas Most Admired Companies is not only a recognition of the 40 years of development achievements of CIMC Group, but also a positive encouragement for the transformation and upgrading of traditional Chinese enterprises.
Some of the 206 companies participating in the list application and entering the candidate pool are among either Fortune Global 500 or Fortune China Top 500, and some of the 206 companies are star companies under the spotlight. Fortune (Chinese version) distributed questionnaires to 42,117 Chinese enterprise managers through the Internet. From the perspectives of management ability, talent attraction, product/service ability, social responsibility, investment value, assets and globalization, the 50 companies with the highest comprehensive score were included in the all-star list of “Chinas Most Admired Companies 2022”.
