Global forwarder – Senior Sales Representative
We are an international freight forwarding company with the head office in China. Our company keeps steady growing with 10 branches including Australian branch. With recent internal restructure & rapid expansion of our Australian branch, we are excited to introduce a new role at our Clayton VIC office. Due to our continued success driven by high performance and visionary management, for a Senior Sales Representative, to expand our Global Freight Forwarding Division in Australia.
Senior Sales Representative
This role requires minimum three years’ experience in international freight forwarding, specialising in Asia trade lanes and customers, minimum one year experience in a senior sales/business development role with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key tasks and responsibilities
- Strong focus on developing new business opportunities
- Achieve KPIs covering new business prospects
- Develop and maintain customer data base
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospects
- A sound understanding of logistics and solutions selling
- Involved in tender and quoting process
- Report on sales progress, strategy and growth plan
This role will give you an great opportunity to get promotion to Business Development Manager and be able to make your mark as a senior member of the management team.
The successful candidate will have excellent working knowledge of the general freight forwarding industry in VIC and have “can be done” approach to our clients, which enables delivery of flexible and innovative solutions for securing new business.
This role required you to be double vaccinated and able to work in Australia.
